The Hot Shoes is an in-demand six piece that performs both authentic repertoire from the 20’s-40’s and modern pop tunes in a swing style. If you’re looking for a hot, swinging, vintage party band that always gets the crowd up on their feet, then look no further! Whether you’re planning your event with a Great Gatsby, Speakeasy or Prohibition theme in mind, or just fancy something a little bit different- this band will always get the party started!
The full band is perfect for dancing, and comes with a set of swinging party classics. With a lineup of vocals, saxophone, trumpet, guitar, double bass and drums, the Original Hot Shoes is the perfect size to get everyone in the room trying out their swing-dance moves to a set of classic party tunes that everybody knows!

Requests
We appreciate that you might have a special song in mind. For a small arranging fee we may be able to perform a song of your choice. However, some songs work better than others, so get in touch before booking!

We love to mix our repertoire up and perform a wide range of swing songs, but something that sets us apart is our innovative arrangements of modern popular songs in a classic 20s style.

The Hot Shoes are based in London, but we regularly travel UK wide. Don't hesitate to get in touch whatever your location, we're happy to quote wherever you are!

Both bands were founded with dancing in mind and we find that our broad repertoire is popular with all ages and tastes. Ideal for weddings, parties and dance events - The Original Hot Shoes and The Hot Shoes Four are professional, experienced and entertaining bands that always goes down well!
We are steeped in the tradition of the 1920s swing era and perform classics such as The Charleston and It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing. However, our speciality is performing modern Pop music in a swing style for weddings and parties. Our set includes songs from artists such as; Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Pharrell Williams and Daft Punk. See below for our full set list!
We offer the option of adding more brass, 2 singers, piano, or you can choose the slightly smaller five-piece version of the band (see booking options). We also have a smaller Jazz trio which is perfect for arrival drinks or for a more relaxed feel.
Hot Shoes has a wealth of experience of performing for clients such as Porsche, GQ Magazine, Diageo and DHL as well weddings all over the UK. We have also had the privilege to play for The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Charles and Camilla The Duchess of Cornwall. Furthermore, we’ve performed at Jazz clubs and festivals around the world, including London Jazz festival, Brecon Jazz festival, Langnau Jazz Nights Switzerland, Hay Festival of literature and countless more.

What can we do for you?
We understand that every event is different, so we treat each booking individually and work with you directly to make sure that everything is 'just right' for your specific requirements.
This can mean changes to our line-up or repertoire which may affect the overall cost of the band, and we are happy to discuss this on a case by case basis with no obligation.
We can also provide recorded music before or after our performance for a small additional fee.
